This five-day private safari creates a wildlife journey across Kenya rather than returning you to Nairobi after the safari.

Beginning in the capital, you travel first to Maasai Mara for two nights, providing substantially more game-viewing time in Kenya's legendary big-cat and savannah ecosystem.

From the Mara, continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its rhino conservation programme, varied birdlife and dramatic Rift Valley setting.

The final wildlife destination is Amboseli National Park, famous for large elephant herds and spectacular views toward Mount Kilimanjaro when weather conditions are favourable.

After your final Amboseli game drive, continue toward Kenya's Indian Ocean coast for drop-off in Diani Beach, Mombasa or Malindi according to your confirmed arrangements.

This is an ideal safari for travellers combining Nairobi, Kenya's premier wildlife areas and a beach holiday on the Indian Ocean coast.

Day01

Nairobi → Maasai Mara National Reserve

Great Rift Valley · Maasai Country · Afternoon Game Drive

Your private safari begins with collection from your Nairobi hotel, residence or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport according to your confirmed arrangements.

Meet your professional driver-guide and depart Nairobi in your exclusive 4x4 Safari Land Cruiser, travelling toward the Great Rift Valley and onward through the Kenyan countryside toward Maasai Mara.

As you approach the Mara ecosystem, the landscape opens into rolling grasslands associated with Maasai country and some of East Africa's most famous wildlife scenery.

Arrive at your selected lodge or tented camp for check-in and lunch according to your confirmed arrival schedule.

Later, depart on your first Maasai Mara game drive. Search the plains for elephants, buffalo, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras and antelopes while keeping watch for predators.

The Mara is especially celebrated for lions and cheetahs, while leopards may be encountered around suitable woodland and riverine habitats.

Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and your first overnight in Maasai Mara.

Day 1: Lunch and dinner according to your confirmed package. First overnight in Maasai Mara.
Day02

Full-Day Maasai Mara Safari

Big Cats · Savannah Wildlife · Great Migration Ecosystem

After breakfast, spend the entire day exploring Maasai Mara with your private driver-guide.

With no major road transfer today, you have more time to follow wildlife movements, explore different habitats and remain longer at particularly rewarding sightings.

Search for lions, cheetahs and leopards alongside elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, warthogs and numerous species of antelope.

Because your safari is private, the day's game-viewing programme can be adapted to current wildlife activity and your own interests.

During the seasonal Great Migration, large wildebeest and zebra herds may be present in the greater Mara ecosystem. Their movements depend on rainfall, grazing conditions and other natural factors.

Mara River crossings are spontaneous natural events and therefore cannot be scheduled or guaranteed.

Depending on your confirmed programme, enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve or return to your accommodation before continuing with afternoon game viewing.

An optional early-morning hot-air balloon safari can also be arranged in advance, subject to availability and additional cost.

Return for dinner and your second overnight in Maasai Mara.

Day 2: Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Second overnight in Maasai Mara.
Day03

Maasai Mara → Lake Nakuru National Park

Final Mara Morning · Great Rift Valley · Rhino Country

Enjoy breakfast before leaving Maasai Mara and beginning the journey toward Lake Nakuru through the Great Rift Valley.

Depending on your confirmed departure schedule, there may be an opportunity for additional wildlife viewing as you leave the Mara ecosystem.

Continue through the Rift Valley toward Lake Nakuru National Park, a compact but wildlife-rich destination known particularly for its rhino conservation programme.

Explore the park in search of both black and white rhinos as well as buffalo, giraffes, zebras, waterbuck, baboons and other wildlife.

Lake Nakuru is also famous for birdlife. Flamingos may occur around the lake, although their numbers vary naturally with water levels, food availability and ecological conditions.

Proceed to your selected lodge or camp for dinner and overnight in the Lake Nakuru area.

Day 3: Breakfast, lunch and dinner according to your confirmed package. Overnight in the Lake Nakuru area.
Day04

Lake Nakuru → Amboseli National Park

Rift Valley · Southern Kenya · Elephants · Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, depart the Lake Nakuru region and travel south toward Amboseli National Park.

The journey takes you across changing Kenyan landscapes toward the southern part of the country and the ecosystem lying beneath Mount Kilimanjaro.

Arrive at Amboseli and proceed to your selected lodge or camp according to your confirmed schedule.

Later, enjoy a private game drive across Amboseli's open plains, wetlands and seasonal lake environments.

The park is internationally known for its elephants, and encounters with family groups moving across the open landscape are among Amboseli's signature safari experiences.

Other wildlife may include lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, jackals and numerous antelope species.

When the weather is clear, Mount Kilimanjaro creates one of Africa's most spectacular safari backdrops. Mountain visibility is naturally weather-dependent and cannot be guaranteed.

Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight in Amboseli.

Day 4: Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overnight in Amboseli.
Day05

Amboseli → Diani Beach, Mombasa or Malindi

Morning Game Drive · Elephants · Safari-to-Beach Transfer

Begin your final safari morning in Amboseli, where the cooler early hours can provide rewarding wildlife activity and, when conditions are favourable, beautiful views toward Mount Kilimanjaro.

Enjoy your final game drive while searching once more for elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife before returning to your lodge or camp for breakfast according to the confirmed programme.

After breakfast and check-out, leave Amboseli and begin your journey toward Kenya's Indian Ocean coast.

Your final transfer will be arranged according to your confirmed beach destination. Guests staying in Diani Beach or Mombasa will continue toward the south coast or Mombasa area, while guests staying in Malindi will continue north along the coast according to the confirmed transport arrangements.

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your confirmed beach hotel, resort or private accommodation.

Your five-day safari concludes with the perfect transition from Kenya's great wildlife landscapes to the warm Indian Ocean coast.

Day 5: Breakfast and other meals according to your confirmed package. Final drop-off at Diani Beach, Mombasa or Malindi.
