Day01

Nairobi → Lake Naivasha

Great Rift Valley · Hell's Gate · Lake Naivasha

Your private safari begins with collection from your Nairobi hotel, residence or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport according to your confirmed arrangements.

Depart Nairobi in your private 4x4 Safari Land Cruiser and travel toward the Great Rift Valley, enjoying impressive views as the landscape opens into the vast geological depression stretching across East Africa.

Continue to the Lake Naivasha region. Depending on your confirmed programme, you may visit Hell's Gate National Park, famous for its dramatic cliffs, volcanic formations and unusual opportunity to experience the landscape outside a conventional game-drive vehicle in permitted areas.

You may also enjoy an optional boat safari on Lake Naivasha, observing hippos from a safe distance while searching for fish eagles, pelicans, kingfishers and other waterbirds.

Proceed to your selected lodge for dinner and overnight in the Lake Naivasha area.

Day 1: Meals according to your confirmed package. Overnight at Lake Naivasha.
Day02

Lake Naivasha → Lake Nakuru National Park

Rift Valley · Rhinos · Flamingos · Birdlife

Enjoy breakfast before departing Lake Naivasha and travelling north through the Great Rift Valley toward Lake Nakuru National Park.

Enter Lake Nakuru for a private game drive through its varied lake, woodland and grassland habitats.

The park is particularly important for rhino conservation and provides opportunities to search for both black and white rhinos.

Other wildlife can include buffalo, giraffes, zebras, waterbuck, baboons and numerous antelope species. Lions are also present, while leopards are naturally more elusive.

Explore the lake environment while observing its diverse birdlife. Flamingos may be present, although their numbers vary naturally according to water levels and food conditions.

Continue to your selected accommodation for dinner and overnight in the Lake Nakuru area.

Day 2: Breakfast, lunch and dinner according to your confirmed package. Overnight at Lake Nakuru.
Day03

Lake Nakuru → Maasai Mara National Reserve

Rift Valley · Maasai Country · Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast, leave the Lake Nakuru region and continue through the Great Rift Valley toward Maasai Mara.

As the journey progresses, the landscape changes into the rolling grasslands and open country associated with Maasai communities and the greater Mara ecosystem.

Arrive at your selected Maasai Mara lodge or tented camp for check-in and lunch according to your confirmed schedule.

Later, begin your first Maasai Mara game drive. Search the plains for elephants, buffalo, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, antelopes and the reserve's celebrated predators.

The Mara is particularly famous for lions and cheetahs, while leopards may be encountered around riverine woodland and other suitable habitats.

Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and your first overnight in Maasai Mara.

Day 3: Breakfast, lunch and dinner. First overnight in Maasai Mara.
Day04

Full-Day Maasai Mara Safari

Big Cats · Savannah Wildlife · Great Migration Ecosystem

After breakfast, spend a complete day exploring Maasai Mara with your private professional driver-guide.

With no long-distance transfer today, you have more time to follow wildlife movements and explore different habitats according to current sightings and conditions.

Search for lions, leopards and cheetahs alongside elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, warthogs and numerous antelope species.

During the seasonal Great Migration, enormous numbers of wildebeest and zebra may move through the greater Mara ecosystem. Their exact movements depend on rainfall, grazing and other natural conditions.

River crossings are among the migration's most famous spectacles but remain spontaneous natural events and cannot be scheduled or guaranteed.

Depending on your arrangements, enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve or return to your lodge before continuing with afternoon game viewing.

An optional early-morning hot-air balloon safari can also be arranged in advance at additional cost and subject to availability.

Return to your accommodation for dinner and your second overnight in Maasai Mara.

Day 4: Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Second overnight in Maasai Mara.
Day05

Maasai Mara → Nairobi

Final Safari Morning · Great Rift Valley · Nairobi

Enjoy breakfast during your final morning in Maasai Mara.

Depending on your confirmed departure schedule, there may be an opportunity for final wildlife viewing before leaving the Mara ecosystem.

Begin the return journey through Maasai country and the Great Rift Valley toward Nairobi.

Upon arrival, your driver-guide will transfer you to your confirmed Nairobi hotel, residence or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Your five-day private safari concludes after experiencing Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara — three contrasting highlights of Kenya's Great Rift Valley safari circuit.

Day 5: Breakfast and other meals according to your confirmed package. Final drop-off in Nairobi.
