At approximately 4:00 PM, depart for your evening game drive. The cooler late-afternoon period can provide excellent wildlife activity and photographic conditions.

Continue exploring until approximately 6:30 PM before returning to your lodge or camp.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive before breakfast, taking advantage of the cooler temperatures when wildlife may be particularly active.

Return for breakfast before checking out and beginning your journey toward Tsavo West National Park.

Game viewing continues en route as you leave Tsavo East and enter the western side of the greater Tsavo ecosystem.

Although the two parks are neighbours, Tsavo West presents a noticeably different landscape with more rugged terrain, volcanic features, rocky hills and areas of denser vegetation.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and enjoy some time to relax.

Later, depart for an afternoon game drive that includes a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary.

The sanctuary provides an opportunity to search for the rare rhino, although sightings remain entirely dependent on wildlife movements.

Other animals that may be encountered include elephants, giraffes, lions, zebra, hyenas and numerous antelope species.

Continue game viewing through the varied Tsavo West landscape before returning to your confirmed accommodation.

After an early breakfast, depart your Tsavo West accommodation and begin game viewing en route through the park.

Continue toward Mzima Springs, one of Tsavo West's most distinctive natural attractions.

The springs create a lush freshwater environment within the otherwise dry landscape and provide an opportunity to search for hippos and crocodiles.

After exploring the Mzima Springs area, continue toward Chyulu Gate and prepare to leave Tsavo West.

Continue to your confirmed Amboseli camp or lodge for check-in and lunch.

Later in the afternoon, depart for an evening game drive through Amboseli until approximately 6:30 PM.

The park is famous for its elephant families, while buffalo, giraffes, zebra, wildebeest, gazelles, lions and hyenas are among the other species that may be encountered.

Return to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Wake early for your final game drive in Amboseli National Park.

The early morning provides another opportunity to search for elephant families, predators and plains wildlife while temperatures remain cool.

It may also provide another opportunity to see Mount Kilimanjaro when weather and cloud conditions are favourable.

After your morning game drive, return to your accommodation for breakfast.

Following breakfast, check out and begin the road journey from Amboseli toward Nairobi.

Your journey north completes a memorable progression from Kenya's Indian Ocean coast through the red-earth landscapes of Tsavo East, the rugged wilderness of Tsavo West and the elephant country of Amboseli.

Arrive in Nairobi around lunchtime, subject to road and traffic conditions.
